Terms of Use
Last updated: June 2026
By creating an account and using kharcha, you agree to these terms. Please read them.
What kharcha is
kharcha is a personal, manual budgeting tool. It helps you plan and track money using envelopes. It is not a bank, not a financial advisor, and does not move, hold, or manage any real money.
Not financial advice
Budget rules like 50/30/20 are general guidance, not personalised financial, investment, or tax advice. You are responsible for your own financial decisions.
Your responsibilities
You’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for the accuracy of the data you enter. Since all entries are manual, the numbers kharcha shows are only as accurate as what you put in.
Availability
kharcha is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We aim for high availability but don’t guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we’re not liable for any loss arising from its use.
Account termination
You can delete your data at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or attempt to compromise other users’ security.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
